Julian summitted the world’s highest vertical climb and highest mountain in North America - Denali (6,190m/20,320ft) via the West Buttress - at 4.15am BST Wednesday 27th June 2018.
After 18 days on the mountain, three days hunkered in tents due to storms, he successfully bagged Denali after a 12 hour summit day. He got very lucky on summit day with excellent weather and was brilliantly led by Kristin Arnold of Mountain Trip.
The lead sponsor was Caring Homes Group and he raised funds for Bliss and The Matt Hampson Foundation.
